We take our responsibilities seriously in preparing those entrusted in our care for the future.
Elementary students who enter Calvary Christian Academy for the first time are given an entrance test to identify strengths and weaknesses. The Principal will determine the appropriate placement of a student.
We desire to meet the needs of every student; however, we recognize that we may not have the facilities or qualified staff to handle students who are mentally or emotionally challenged or who have prior history of learning disabilities and/or severe discipline problems.
I can only give the highest praise to Calvary Christian Academy. What a blessing this school has been to me and my family. The progress that our three year old has made is beyond our expectations. The teachers exude true Christ-like behavior which has truly set the example. Every day our child is excited about seeing her "friends". Our child recites bible verses and sings hymns. It's such a great feeling to know that the foundation that we are laying for our child is being continued daily in her school. We are proud of CCA and will continue to support this school. Thank you Mrs. Williams for your leadership, professionalism and leading such an awesome team. KUDOS.
- The Dawes Family -We came to the United States from South Africa in 2001 with our four daughters ages then, ten, eight, five and two years old, to pastor a Church in Chesapeake. All our children had the privilege of attending Calvary Christian Academy. Initially we as parents were concerned about our children's education because our two youngest daughters had not attended school and our two older daughters needed to acclimate to the American school system. We found that while our children attended Calvary Christian Academy they were taught on an excellent Christian and academic foundation, together with such love, compassion and discipline, thus exhibiting a spirit of excellence. We were blessed because this is what helped to give them an excellent educational foundation. As a result all four of our daughters continue to excel in their current grades at school. We are pleased to say that one of our daughters had been selected in the Chesapeake accelerated program enabling her to complete two grades in one school year. She also obtained the President's award for excellent academic performance.
We are forever grateful to Calvary Christian Academy for the dedicated Principal and staff. May God continue to shower His richest blessings upon Calvary Christian Academy.
Ms. Holloway is doing an excellent job with her class. My daughter Grace has shown what she is learning.
